APOtel is a fully interactive and responsive employee directory for over 11,000 people around the globe. 

From a simple last name "look-up" beginning, APOtel has evolved into an essential tool for employees everyday.

In the images above, the concept for APOtel was mocked up in Indigo Studio and proposed to the Executive Committee. The new, fully functional APOtel would leverage Microsoft AD and maintain a profile for each employee in a database.

Leveraging "favourites" and suggestive search, end users often found who they were looking for before even clicking the mouse.

The fully employee profile is returned, including the interactive organization chart, Google Maps integration, and leveraging the client-side Microsoft products such as Skype and Outlook.

To further enhance the employee database, the "Resources" section was added to provide employees with resources located in their specific building or floor, including copiers, meeting rooms, first aid attendants, etc.

Employees also requested an easy way to find people based on skill set or expertise. End users could select the enterprise application and filter their way down to find Super Users or Solution Architects around the globe.

A settings page allowed employees to upload their own photo, post a message and include social media profiles.
